Where to find the Waylay Rune in WoW Classic Season of Discovery
Begin your quest in Deadwind Pass, where you’ll encounter a helpful Dalaran Agent NPC at Ariden’s Camp, located at coordinates 52, 35. Upon interaction, she grants you Ariden’s Sigil, a Trinket that unveils nearby Dark Riders, typically concealed from view. Utilize this Trinket to detect Dark Riders lurking in the vicinity or follow the map coordinates provided for ease.
Your mission entails locating and defeating seven Dark Rider enemies scattered across Azeroth. These formidable adversaries demand preparation, so ensure you’re near the level cap and enlist the aid of capable allies. Beware, as even a level 28 attempt resulted in defeat, underscoring the necessity for adequate strength.
Upon vanquishing each Dark Rider, collect the Dalaran Relics they drop and return them to the Dalaran Agent NPC in Deadwind Pass.

Remember to loot each Dark Rider post-battle. Upon amassing seven Dalaran Relics, return to the Dalaran Agent NPC, who will present you with seven individual quests for relic turn-ins. Upon completion, you’ll be rewarded with the Rune necessary to unlock the Waylay passive ability.
