While Horde players commence their journey in the Barrens, Alliance adventurers begin in Westfall. However, both factions will traverse the world to secure the Cozy Sleeping Bag. Step one
- Horde: Proceed to the Barrens and locate a charred corpse beneath the tower in the southern part of the region (coordinates: 46, 73). Interact with the corpse to begin the quest “… and that note you found.”
- Alliance: Travel to Westfall and find a different charred body at the Alexston Farmstead, northwest of Deadmines (coordinates: 37, 50).
Step two
- Horde: Journey to Westfall and locate the Alliance’s charred body from step one.
- Alliance: Venture into the Barrens and interact with the body from step one.
- Upon completion, receive the Stepping Stones quest.
Step three
- Proceed to Stonetalon Mountains, outside Sunrock Retreat, and find the path to the mountains at coordinates 51, 51.

- Traverse the dam until you reach coordinates 49, 12, then jump off to a balcony on the north side and interact with the eagle statue.
Step six
- Head to the Thoradin Wall (border of Hillsbrad and Arathi Highlands) at coordinates 87, 49.
- Walk along the wall to the north, climb it, and locate the note and a bag.
- Interact with the bag to obtain your Cozy Sleeping Bag.
