The Tac Stance in Warzone Season 2 Is Basically a Cheat Code

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 introduced a new aiming style known as the “Tactical Stance,” or Tac Stance, in Warzone and MW3 Season 2. In a recent update, the Tac Stance has received a significant buff, eliminating recoil from your weapons, making it highly effective for dominating close-range combat.

Tac Stance Buff Means No More ADS

Before Season 2, the Tac Stance wasn’t a significant feature in Warzone and MW3. While it had its moments in pre-season, it’s now considerably more powerful than before.

There are two key buffs to the Tac Stance in Season 2. Firstly, there’s a general increase in accuracy, resulting in reduced recoil across all weapons. Secondly, certain weapons like the Striker-9 receive specific buffs when using Tac Stance. For more details on weapon buffs and nerfs, refer to the article below. Weapons with accuracy buffs in Season 2 perform notably better with Tac Stance.

So, the previously accepted rule about Tac aiming no longer applies; now, most MW3 weapons can be fired with minimal to no recoil using Tac Stance. But does this render aiming down sights useless? The answer is both yes and no. Yes, Tac Stance is superior for close to mid-range combat, but for long-range targets, it’s not the optimal choice.

Best Attachments To Use

How To Use Tac Stance in MW3 and Warzone

In Warzone and MW3, activating Tac Stance is simple. On controllers, press the down button on the D-pad while aiming down sights. If using a mouse and keyboard, Tac Stance activation is typically bound to your Melee preset button, commonly V if not manually changed.
