The Sims 4: How To Collect All The Postcards

In the vibrant world of The Sims 4, your Sim can embark on exciting journeys to tropical beaches, snow-capped mountains, desolate deserts, and picturesque cliff-side coasts. However, if your Sim yearns to explore the nostalgic landscapes of bygone game maps, there’s a delightful hobby awaiting them – postcard collecting.

How To Get A Pen Pal

Pen pals are not a thing of the past; they’re alive and thriving in The Sims 4. To kickstart your postcard collection, your Sim needs a pen pal. Head to a computer, delve into the Socialize menu, and click “Find A Pen Pal.” Your Sim will soon receive a response, typically within a few hours. Check for replies in the Socialize menu on the computer.

How To Collect Postcards

Now that your Sim has a far-off friend, send them at least one letter by navigating to Socialize > Write Letter To > Location. This location represents the town your pen pal is writing from. Writing the first letter unlocks the ability to ask for postcards from that location. Repeat this process for different locations to amass a diverse collection.

Acquiring postcards varies in difficulty. Rare or uncommon postcards may require multiple letters and requests. The mail arrives around 9:00 in the morning, but your Sim won’t be notified. Check your Sim’s inventory for the postcard. Postcards could arrive the next day or take several days, so consider asking for multiple postcards to expedite the process.

To display your postcards, purchase a corkboard from Build Mode, place it in your home, and drag the postcards directly from your Sim’s inventory. You can also sell postcards for §10 to §40.
