Ahoy there, fellow Stardew Valley enthusiasts! Today, we’re setting sail to explore the mysteries of the Pirate Cove on Ginger Island. I’m excited to spill the beans on how to unlock this hidden gem, so grab your favorite beverage, and let’s dive in. Avast, spoilers ahead, mateys!
How To Get To Ginger Island
Before we can embark on our Pirate Cove adventure, we need a ticket to Ginger Island. This exclusive pass unlocks post-Community Center completion. Willy, the fisherman extraordinaire, will shoot you a message about his boat needing some TLC. Gather the materials he needs, and voila! For a mere 1,000g, you’re off to Ginger Island – a tropical paradise awaits!
How To Unlock Pirate Cove
Now, the real treasure hunt begins. While roaming Ginger Island, keep an eye out for parrot stands. These feathered friends hold the keys to unlocking upgrades with Golden Walnuts. To unveil the Pirate Cove, follow this upgrade roadmap:
Speak To Leo
Head to Leo’s hut on the main beach’s right side, slip a golden walnut to his parrot, and watch the magic unfold.
Unlock Island West
The west area awaits exploration. Convince the giant turtle to move by offering its parrot pal ten walnuts. Smooth sailing, right?
Upgrade The Island Farmhouse
No rest for the weary! Invest 20 Golden Walnuts to upgrade the island farmhouse within the newly unlocked west area.
Unlock The Beach Resort
Back to where it all began – the main beach. Spend another 20 golden walnuts to unlock the Beach Resort, paving the way for the Pirate Cove.
How To Find Pirate Cove
As the Beach Resort emerges, you’ll notice a clear lower right-hand corner – that’s your cue. Navigate through the secret entrance in the wall, and voilà, you’re inside the legendary Pirate Cove!
What Can You Do At The Pirate Cove?
The Pirate Cove isn’t your typical daytime hangout; the real action starts at night. On even-numbered, rainless days, a crew of pirates gathers inside the cave post 8 pm. While you can’t gift them, interaction is on the table.
How To Get Free Mead
Sport some pirate flair – a Pirate Hat, Eye Patch, or Deluxe Pirate Hat – and receive free mead at the bar. Pirates sure know how to keep the party going!
How To Play Darts
Join the pirates for a game of darts. Bagging the first three wins scores you golden walnuts. After that, it’s all for fun – no rewards, but hey, the thrill is worth it!
Fishing In Pirate Cove
Need a quiet moment? Cast a line into the cove’s waters. Reel in Flounder, Lionfish, Tuna, Pufferfish, Stingray, and Super Cucumber. Plus, keep an eye out for the elusive Gourmand Statue – a quirky decoration for your island or valley.
And there you have it, me hearties! Pirate Cove – a night-time hotspot for mead, darts, and serene fishing.
