Persona 3 Reload | Slaughter Twins weakness

In Persona 3 Reload, the Slaughter Twins flank the Tartarus floor 36 boss, Disturbing Dice. Swiftly dealing with the Slaughter Twins is crucial in this Gatekeeper boss encounter, especially if you exploit their vulnerability.

The Disturbing Dice follows the Heretic Magus as the second of two consecutive Gatekeepers. Unlike the Heretic Magus, the Disturbing Dice lacks a specific weakness, requiring a more strategic approach to defeat. However, the Slaughter Twins possess a weakness to a particular affinity.

What is the Slaughter Twins’ weakness in the floor 36 boss fight

The Slaughter Twins are susceptible to Electric damage, a favorable aspect if confronting this boss battle on or after May 23 (5/23). This date marks Akihiko’s inclusion in the party, offering the Zio skill, which inflicts Electric Damage. Additionally, having four party members instead of three proves advantageous.

Personally, I engaged in relentless Tartarus exploration, reaching the floor 36 boss battle well before May 23. Despite the early encounter, I effortlessly conquered the Slaughter Twins and Disturbing Dice. Utilizing the Tam Lin Persona, equipped with an Electric attack skill, along with low-level Personas like Pixie, Omoikane, and Devil, all capable of Electric Damage, proved effective.

How to beat the Slaughter Twins and win the floor 36 boss fight

Whether employing Akihiko’s Zio skill or utilizing Tam Lin, Pixie, Omoikane, Devil, or any Persona with an Electric attack, prioritizing the elimination of the Slaughter Twins is paramount. Target one Twin with an Electric Attack to incapacitate it, then repeat the process with the other. Subsequently, employ either Junpei or Akihiko to execute a basic attack on the Disturbing Dice.

As the Disturbing Dice lacks a weakness, securing a critical hit offers the best chance to incapacitate it. Junpei and Akihiko’s basic attacks boast the highest critical hit rate. Alternatively, if your leader possesses a Persona capable of Ice attacks, freezing the Disturbing Dice guarantees critical hits from any subsequent basic attack.
