Persona 3 Reload | Platinum Dice weakness

Encountering Platinum Dice, an optional boss in Persona 3 Reload, can prove to be a bit bothersome.

You encounter it by accessing the Monad Door on Floor 117 (117F) and must defeat it to obtain certain hidden treasures further along the Monad Passage. Although this encounter is static, you have the option to skip it if your main focus is progressing through the game’s main storyline.

However, if you decide to confront Platinum Dice to uncover its guarded treasures, understanding its weaknesses becomes crucial—although it doesn’t have any.

What is Platinum Dice’s weakness in Persona 3 Reload?

Platinum Dice presents no vulnerabilities in Persona 3 Reload, posing a formidable challenge in battle.

It exhibits complete immunity to Strike physical damage, as well as Electric, Dark, and Light elemental attacks. Consequently, only Fire, Ice, and Wind elemental attacks, along with the other two forms of physical damage, can inflict harm.

This renders party members like Akihiko and Koromaru ineffective for this encounter, as the majority of their attacks won’t affect Platinum Dice. Instead, assembling a party comprising Yukari, Mitsuri, and Aigis proves more advantageous for dealing damage.

Equipping the main protagonist with various high-level Personas capable of dealing the appropriate damage further facilitates the battle.
