Eikthyrdeer

Eikthyrdeer was among the first Pals I acquired. Despite my progression, I continue using it in my team for its strength and speed as a mount.

This Neutral Pal employs its Guardian of the Forest Partner Skill, allowing the player to ride it. The ability includes a double jump and enhanced efficiency when cutting trees.

Eikthyrdeer’s attacks are surprisingly potent. While attempting to catch other Pals, I had to switch it out as it would knock them out before capture. Its strength increases with higher levels, unlocking abilities like Stone Cannon, Rock Lance, and Power Bomb.

This Pal is valuable for collecting wood around the base, with a work suitability level two for Lumbering.

  • Element: Neutral
  • Partner Skill: Guardian of the Forest
  • Work Suitability: Lumbering level two
  • Possible Drops: Eikthyrdeer Venison, Leather, Horn
  • Food: 5/10

Eikthyrdeer Spawn Location

Eikthyrdeer can be found in two areas on the Palworld map, east and west. Head to the orange-marked areas in the image above, day or night, to catch a glimpse.

Chillet

Chillet, the first boss I encountered, remains on my team due to its formidable nature. The fight is tough but manageable, making it an excellent introduction to boss fights.

Chillet’s strengths lie in its Ice and Dragon powers, with attacks like Ice Missile, Dragon Burst, and Cryst Breath. It can be ridden, applying Dragon damage to the player’s attacks.

The combination of Ice and Dragon powers, along with its Partner Skill, makes Chillet suitable for mid-game players seeking a strong Pal.

  • Partner Skill: Wriggling Weasel
  • Work Suitability: Gathering level one, Cooling level one
  • Possible Drops: Leather
  • Food: 3/10

Chillet Spawn Location

Chillet is found near the No Man’s Trail teleportation statue, south of the Fort Ruins teleportation statue, as seen in the map image above.

Vixy

Vixy, though not powerful, is essential for mid-game players with a ranch. Its Partner Skill, Dig Here!, allows it to dig up arrows and Pal Spheres when grazing.

Vixy’s digging can save resources, particularly arrows and Pal Spheres needed for crafting.

  • Element: Neutral
  • Partner Skill: Dig Here!
  • Work Suitability: Gathering level one, Farming level one
  • Possible Drops: Leather, Bone
  • Food: 1/10

Penking

Penking, suitable for mid-game, is versatile and sturdy. It excels in various base tasks and is a robust Pal in battles. Its Water and Ice Type powers, like Iceberg and Aqua Gun, make it valuable.

Penking’s Partner Skill, Brave Sailor, increases item drops from Fire Pals when used in battle.

  • Element: Water/Ice
  • Partner Skill: Brave Sailor
  • Work Suitability: Handiwork level two, Transporting level two, Watering level two, Mining level two, Cooling level two
  • Possible Drops: Ice Organ, Penking Plume
  • Food: 5/10

Vanwyrm

A mid-game flying Pal, Vanwyrm, becomes accessible at level 21 with the crafting recipe for Vanwyrm’s Saddle. Its Partner Skill, Aerial Marauder, increases damage to weakened enemies when riding.

  • Food: 6/10

Reptyro

For mid-game dominance, Reptyro, a Fire and Ground-type Pal, is an excellent choice. Its abilities include Volcanic Burst, Ignis Breath, Rock Lance, and Stone Cannon.
