Nightingale | How To Upgrade and Enchant Weapons

Enhancing your weaponry in Nightingale is vital for survival and conquering the treacherous Fae Realms. This process not only bolsters their statistics but also elevates their gear scores, enabling access to Sites of Power and acquiring potent loot. Weapon upgrades empower you to augment equipment capabilities through active and passive skills. Amidst scavenging for materials, crafting gear, and repairing tools, where exactly can you fortify your armaments in this game?

What You Need to Upgrade Weapons in Nightingale

Weapon enhancements in Nightingale are facilitated through the Upgrade Bench crafting station. This station facilitates the enhancement of weapon rarity using 40 Essences. There exist four weapon rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Epic, each necessitating a distinct Essence Tier for upgrading.

The T1 Essence required for Uncommon upgrades can be sourced from the Antiquarian, Astrolabe, and Provisioner Realms. T2 Essence for Rare upgrades is obtainable in the Hunt, Gloom, and Herbarium. Finally, the Epic T3 Essence is exclusively found in the Ascended Realm after encountering The Watch. Should you face difficulty in farming Nightingale’s weapon upgrade materials, they are also purchasable from the Essence Trader.

Similar to other crafting stations, the Upgrade Bench is available in three tiers, with the materials required for each as follows:

  • Simple Upgrade Bench: Ingot x2, Lumber x4, Twine x3.
  • Refined Upgrade Bench: TBA
  • Excellent Upgrade Bench: Etched Alloy Ingot x3, Gilded Lumber x4, Carved Stone x3.

How To Enchant Weapons

In addition to rarity upgrades, Nightingale’s weapons can be enriched with Charms, Enchantments, and Infusions. Enchantments introduce bonus effects or mystical prowess while wielding the weapon, such as an area-of-effect ground slam. Meanwhile, Charms and Infusions confer passive buffs like increased maximum Health, Elemental or Status Resistance, and more. These enhancements are applied using the Enchanter’s Focus, available in three tiers:

  • Simple Enchanter’s Focus: Ingot x1, Lumber x2, Glass x5.
  • Refined Enchanter’s Focus: TBA.
  • Excellent Enchanter’s Focus: TBA.

Nightingale is accessible on PC via Steam.
