Modern Warfare 3: How to unlock and use Threat Identification System
Although not the ultimate perk, the Threat Identification System enables Operators to ping enemies while aiming down sights (ADS). When you ping an enemy, both you and your team can spot them, unless they’re equipped with the Ghost T/V Camo gear perk, rendering them undetectable. To unlock the Threat Identification System gear perk in Modern Warfare 3, reach level 25. Once achieved, it will become available in the Armory Unlocks under the Perks tab for you to unlock.
If you’re unfamiliar with how Armory Unlocks function, you must activate the unlockable and participate in Multiplayer, Zombies, and Battle Royale matches. Before entering matches, the lobby screen will present a list of Daily Challenges for each mode. Complete eight of these Daily Challenges to equip the Threat Identification System for your loadout.
This perk proves invaluable when playing as an infiltrator during objective-based matches in Modern Warfare 3. Tag enemy Operators, allowing your team to eliminate them, even if they’re concealed in vantage points. Choose a map with a mix of open areas and enclosed spaces to capitalize fully on the Threat Identification System’s capabilities.
