Is Nightingale Coming to Consoles?

Nightingale is currently in its initial Early Access Period, exclusively available for PCs. However, many players have expressed their desire for additional platform options to enhance their gaming experience. The question on everyone’s mind is: Will Inflexion Games heed these demands and deliver a console port in the future?

Is Nightingale Coming Out for Console?

Presently, there are no plans for a console version of Nightingale. The official FAQ for the game explicitly states that it is “currently PC only,” and this information is consistent across the game’s official Discord server, where real-time updates are shared. However, there have been no indications or announcements regarding console releases.

While the game’s technical requirements might exceed those of handheld devices like the Nintendo Switch, it could potentially thrive on platforms such as the Xbox Series X or PS5, similar to other recent survival games like Palworld or Enshrouded. Unfortunately, there has been no progress in this direction thus far.

The developers are presently dedicated to enhancing the Early Access version by introducing new updates, content, and bug fixes, as well as implementing the Offline Mode feature, which has been highly requested by players since the game’s launch. Consequently, the likelihood of a console release in the near future seems slim.

However, this does not signify the end of hope. Depending on the progress of development in the coming months, there may be a future announcement regarding console compatibility. Yet, it’s essential not to raise expectations prematurely, as Nightingale is still in its early stages of development. Meanwhile, if you’re undecided about purchasing the game, you can always watch gameplay streams and potentially earn Twitch Drops in the process.
