Is Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on PC?

Every SOLDIER and his Red XIII is excited about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, the forthcoming sequel to Final Fantasy 7 Remake set to launch on April 29, 2024. However, with its release exclusively confirmed for PlayStation 5, many wonder if FF7 Rebirth will also grace the PC platform.

Will FFVII Rebirth Be Released on PC?

As of now, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has no scheduled release date for PC and will debut exclusively on PlayStation 5. This differs from its predecessor, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, initially released on PlayStation 4 and later on PlayStation 5 as Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade. Evidently, the PlayStation 4 may not have been capable of fully capturing Sephiroth’s iconic hair in all its splendor, motivating fans to consider upgrading to experience his story in its entirety.

However, it’s plausible that PC players will eventually have the opportunity to delve into FF7 Rebirth. Although nothing is confirmed, Final Fantasy 7 Remake made its way to PC roughly a year and a half after its initial release, alongside the enhanced version, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. Therefore, it’s reasonable to speculate that any potential DLC for FF7 Rebirth might follow a similar trajectory, with a PC release postponed until after the DLC’s launch. Nevertheless, it’s still early days, and this speculation is based solely on the release pattern of Final Fantasy VII Remake.

So, if you own a PS5 and are eager to dive in without delay, your best course of action is to experience it on the console upon release or through its demo. However, if you’re willing to wait or lack access to the console, there’s a good chance that a PC release will eventually materialize, although perhaps not immediately.
