How To Save in Tomb Raider I-III Remastered

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered brings back the experience of Lara Croft’s adventures from 1996, offering both the classic visuals and a modern remastered version. Additionally, players can now capture fantastic screenshots with the Photo Mode feature. However, one of the highlights of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is undoubtedly the save and load option, a simple change appreciated by all OG players.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Save/Load Guide

In Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, players can save their game progress at any time across all three games. Simply pause the game and select the save option. Likewise, loading a specific save slot is as easy as choosing the load option from the pause menu. For PC players, pressing F5 automatically saves the game, while the F9 shortcut loads the most recent save file.

This differs significantly from the experience of some players two decades ago. In the original Tomb Raider trilogy games (except for Tomb Raider 2), Save Crystals were required to preserve game progress for future loading. In Tomb Raider 1, these crystals were found at specific locations, and in Tomb Raider 3, players had to collect Save Crystals as items, making saving the game much more challenging.

However, in Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, the save and load options are conveniently accessible at any time. Just be cautious when navigating the options menu, as the load button is placed above the save button. Accidentally selecting load instead of save could lead to loading a previous save file instead of saving your current progress. Apart from this, players can enjoy hunting adventures with Lara in the remastered versions of the classic Tomb Raider games.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is now available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
