How to get Wild Style in Destiny 2 All god rolls

The Nightfall weapon pool in Destiny 2 has undergone significant revitalization, with two new additions including the Wild Style, our second Double Fire breach-loaded grenade launcher.

Tex Mechanica’s latest creation, the Wild Style, joins the Wilderflight, promising an exciting addition to your arsenal. However, obtaining this powerhouse will require some Nightfall runs. Here’s how to acquire the Wild Style in Destiny 2 and our top picks for PvE and PvP god rolls.

How to obtain Wild Style in Destiny 2

Introduced alongside Guardian Games 2024, the Wild Style is a Solar special grenade launcher available in the Vanguard Nightfall loot pool. You can obtain it by completing high-level Nightfalls or by redeeming Vanguard Engrams to Zavala at the Tower.

Similar to the Wilderflight, the Wild Style is a Double Fire grenade launcher, unleashing two grenades side-by-side. While each grenade individually inflicts slightly less damage, the combined firepower makes it a formidable choice against majors and Champions.

You won’t be able to redeem your Vanguard Engrams for a Wild Style until you unlock the grenade launcher in your Collection. To do this, run Nightfalls at higher difficulties (Hero or above) until it drops for you!

The Wild Style boasts three Origin Traits to choose from, with Vanguard’s Vindication and Stunning Recovery as standard Nightfall perks. Additionally, being a Tex Mechanica weapon, it features Tex Balanced Stock, enhancing handling, reload speed, and movement speed while aiming down sights after scoring a hip-fire kill.

What constitutes the Wild Style god roll in Destiny 2?

Wild Style PvE god roll

  • Barrel: Linear Compensator
  • Magazine: Spike Grenades
  • Trait Column One: Envious Assassin
  • Trait Column Two: Surrounded or Incandescent

For PvE, the standout perk combination is Envious Assassin, offering the ability to overflow the magazine from reserves without manual reloading—an invaluable feature for a Double Fire grenade launcher. While Unrelenting and Danger Zone are viable alternatives, Envious Assassin reigns supreme in this setup.

Pair Envious Assassin with Incandescent for a Solar build, or opt for Surrounded, which synergizes well with Danger Zone, especially when surrounded by enemies.

Spike Grenades are ideal for the magazine slot, but Disorientating Grenades stun enemies hit by the Wild Style, making them more effective in endgame content.

Wild Style PvP god roll

  • Barrel: Quick Launch
  • Magazine: High-Velocity Rounds
  • Trait Column One: Unrelenting
  • Trait Column Two: Incandescent or Attrition Orbs

While Wilderflight didn’t gain much traction in PvP, Wild Style faces a similar fate. Quick Launch and High-Velocity Rounds can enhance its velocity, but available traits for Crucible gameplay aren’t as remarkable.

Opt for Unrelenting for short-term health recovery and pair it with Vanguard’s Vindication Origin Trait for swift health regeneration post-kill. Your second Trait depends on personal preference, with Incandescent providing additional area-of-effect damage or Attrition Orbs granting an Orb of Power after a couple of kills.
