How to get the Royal Custodian epic armor in Skull and Bones

The Royal Custodian epic armor stands out as one of the premier armor pieces available in Skull and Bones. What’s even more enticing is that acquiring it doesn’t entail hours of grinding. Here’s how to obtain the Royal Custodian armor in Skull and Bones.

How to get the Royal Custodian armor

The primary method to obtain the Royal Custodian armor in Skull and Bones is by completing The Colonial Shipment Merchant Convoy event. This event, ranked seven, commences near the La Bastide capital settlement, east of Saint-Anne, and navigates northward across the map. Specifically, this world event is crucial for acquiring the armor.

During the event, three ships within the convoy will be highlighted on your screen, with each ship presenting a chance to drop the Royal Custodian armor. To bolster your odds of obtaining the armor, consider boarding the ships whenever feasible. While not mandatory (and may not always be available), boarding has the potential to yield the armor as a bonus loot.

For perspective on the drop rate, I completed the event twice and acquired two Royal Custodians from one ship (one as a boarding bonus). Therefore, running this event a few times should swiftly net you the armor.

Complete Legendary Heists

Once you’ve reached the endgame and can seize Manufactories, you can secure the Royal Custodian armor through the Legendary Heist Takeover opportunity. This Heist emerges every 30 minutes, tasking you with sinking a designated ship and then delivering its loot to the pirate den. When looting the target ship, there’s a chance to acquire the Royal Custodian armor.

Keep in mind that the likelihood of a Legendary Heist spawning diminishes with the number of Manufactories under your control. If you’re still in the early stages of establishing your pirate empire, prioritize Heists to efficiently progress on multiple fronts.
