Sons of the Forest presents numerous dark, eerie, and frightening caves, along with some once-luxurious and cozy now-abandoned bunkers. However, accessing some of these areas poses a significant challenge in the form of keycards. The most crucial areas require keycards for entry, but locating these keycards in Sons of the Forest can sometimes be quite elusive. Fortunately, we can guide you in the right direction.
All Keycard Locations
Currently, there are three keycard locations in Sons of the Forest that you need to be aware of. The first one is the keycard found in the Maintenance A Bunker. This bunker is situated in the northern part of the map, concealed beneath some soil. Make sure to bring a shovel to gain entry.
Once you’ve uncovered the hatch and made your way inside, proceed down the hallway until you reach a room on the right side. Move towards the desk housing the 3D Printer, and you’ll find the keycard positioned to the right of it.
After obtaining the first keycard, the location of the second one will be marked on your map at the site of the Food and Dining Bunker. However, reaching the VIP keycard location requires a considerably longer journey than the first.
- Enter through the gap in the rock outside the Food and Dining Bunker.
- Proceed through the cave until you reach the bunker hatch, then open it and descend.
- Use your Maintenance A Bunker Keycard to unlock the door on the opposite side of the room.
- Progress through each room until you reach a staircase, then navigate through the underwater chambers until you encounter a door on the left side of a dimly lit corridor. Enter through this door.
- Inside the room, you’ll find two desks. The VIP keycard location is on the desk with four computer monitors.
To discover the final keycard location in Sons of the Forest, you’ll need to explore the Entertainment Bunker, which is located as indicated above. Navigating through this extensive bunker will require more time than the previous two.
- Enter the Entertainment bunker through the cave-like entrance.
- Follow the corridors leading to the room with a purple-lit gym in the rear corner.
- Upon reaching the gym area, turn left and proceed through the door to the large staircase.
- Climb the stairs and turn left, where you’ll encounter a locked keycard door. Utilize the keycard acquired from a previous bunker to unlock the door.
- Once inside, proceed through the main room to the back, passing by a body with a guitar inserted into its throat, and you’ll find the keycard on a table surrounded by bodies.
