How to fix car quirks with Tinker Station in Pacific Drive

Each car has its unique quirks, which can become hazardous when navigating through the Olympic zone. Discover how to resolve these quirks using the Tinker Station in Pacific Drive and ensure a safe journey.

How to deal with car quirks

While initially amusing, quirks like my horn honking every time I shut the trunk can quickly become tiresome. Managing car quirks in Pacific Drive can be perplexing, but this guide to the Tinker Station will assist you.

Upon opening the Tinker Station, you’re presented with an array of information to decipher. It may take some time to realize that it’s not prompting you to describe two separate quirks, especially if you’re unfortunate enough to encounter multiple quirks simultaneously. Any part of your car could be affected, including doors, the battery, headlights, and more.

The Tinker Station aids in diagnosing and resolving car quirks, but you must discern the cause and effect. Referencing the image below, the first two columns represent the cause, while the subsequent columns depict the effect.

In the image, you’ll notice my accurate diagnosis of a quirk affecting my car: activating the wipers would result in the rear right door opening. You’re allotted eight guesses to identify a quirk. Successfully diagnosing the issue refunds your guesses.

After correctly identifying the problem, click the “Fixes” button in the top right corner to find the solution, typically in the form of a repair kit. Once repaired, you can rest assured until new quirks arise.

Pacific Drive Tinker Station Upgrades

Identifying the quirks affecting your car may take time, but upgrades to the Tinker Station can offer assistance. Unlock the Matter Deconstructor and Matter Regenerator before proceeding to upgrade the Tinker Station.
