How to Find the Sea Monster in Skull and Bones

We’re all familiar with the multitude of ships sailing the seas in Skull and Bones, but it’s the Sea Monster that truly presents a formidable challenge. Whether you’re seeking to vanquish it or gathering materials from it, this guide will detail where you can locate this legendary creature.

Where to Find the Sea Monster in Skull and Bones

To encounter the Sea Monster, you must first obtain the “From the Deep” contract. Without this contract, the Sea Monster will not spawn. Look for the Sea Monster in the Western Basin along the northern coast of Africa after acquiring the contract. If your ship is around level 5, you’ll notice a whisper signaling the presence of the contract when sailing near the Lanitra Outpost in the Giant’s Leap zone of the Red Isle.

If you haven’t explored this area yet, sail north of Sainte-Anne until you reach the Lanitra Outpost adjacent to the Angaya Coast. Upon spotting the whisper, dock your ship and speak with the Sea People Huntmaster, located on the right side among the vendors. Besides offering supplies for sale, he also provides two contracts: “Thrill of the Hunt” and “From the Deep.”

How to Find the Sea Monster in Skull and Bones:

  • Ensure your ship reaches level 5.
  • Navigate to the Lanitra Outpost in The Giant’s Leap.
  • Accept the “From the Deep” Contract from the Sea People Huntmaster.
  • Sail to the Western Basin.

The “From the Deep” quest, designed for ship level 6, leads you to the Western Basin on the African coast. Since this battle takes place in the open waters of the Coast of Africa’s northern section, you won’t receive assistance from NPC ships. It’s up to you to defeat Kuharibu or enlist the help of fellow pirates to avoid meeting a watery end. Once victorious, you’ll begin earning Monstrous materials, and you can also return the Sea Monster’s eye to the Sea People Huntmaster.

For the best chance of survival, consider using a ship like the Padewakang in battle against the Sea Monster.
