How to find Prismatic Slime in Granblue Fantasy Relink

Angra Manyu and Bahamut Versa are formidable entities in Granblue Fantasy: Relink, but the Prismatic Slime stands out as the rarest monster, appearing randomly in select quests yet offering unmatched rewards. Here are some tips to enhance your chances of encountering a Prismatic Slime.

Quests to find Prismatic Slime in Granblue Fantasy: Relink

In Granblue Fantasy: Relink, your best bet to encounter a Prismatic Slime is by focusing on high-level Survival quests like Slimepede on Maniac difficulty and Assault Formation on Extreme difficulty. These brief four-minute quests entail defeating numerous enemies, particularly Kingslimes, which have the potential to transform into Prismatic Slimes.

Within quests featuring Slimes, including the larger Silver and Gold Kingslimes, one of these might randomly manifest as a Prismatic Slime. In Assault Formation, Kingslimes often appear near the center 20mm Ether Autocannon, while in Slimepede, they’re typically found in the room’s central area. Keep an eye out for Vyrn’s remark “Look at the size of that Goo-lossus,” signaling the presence of a Kingslime, and possibly a Prismatic Slime, in those regions.

Kingslimes and Prismatic Slimes closely resemble regular Slimes until attacked, revealing their true nature. When hunting for Prismatic Slimes, ensure to target every Slime in the central zones of these quests. Prismatic Slimes exhibit a rainbow-colored appearance once revealed, requiring swift action for their defeat as they’ll flee and disappear if not dispatched promptly.

The spawn rate of Prismatic Slimes remains uncertain. In personal experience, encountering three of them took approximately 60 AFK runs of Assault Formation. Surprisingly, you can even passively farm Prismatic Slimes by enabling Full Assist Mode.
