How to prepare for Gears and Gambits 4 in FF7 Rebirth
To optimize your chances in Gears and Gambits four, it’s essential to configure your robot team efficiently. Here’s my setup:
- Outfit each robot with a different elemental shot.
- Provide each robot with one of the following: Shock, Gravity Shot, and Missile.
- Equip each robot with an automatic self-casting spell after 30 seconds.
- Distribute remaining points evenly, maintaining similar robot deployment costs.
For Portal Skills, consider using Cautious Courage, particularly effective against King Flan in this stage.
How to beat Gears and Gambits 4 in FF7 Rebirth
To triumph in Gears and Gambits four, overwhelm King Flan while countering incoming enemies. Deploy two robots with Thunder Shots to combat the initial flan weak to thunder.
Be cautious not to deploy more than three robots in one lane, as it will lead to debuffs from the boss. Instead, diversify deployment across lanes, ensuring each lane has different elemental robots attacking the boss.
Continue attacking the boss and countering enemies, even when it casts a regeneration spell. Persist with this strategy, and victory will be within reach after a few attempts.
Upon success, venture into Cosmo Canyon and focus on significant tasks, such as completing the quest From Whence Life Flows.
