By right-clicking on a friend in Steam, you can find options to invite them or join their session, bypassing the “unable to join friends” error in Helldivers 2. Ultimately, this issue is something only Arrowhead can resolve permanently, which may happen with additional servers or a hotfix for Helldivers 2.
It’s worth noting that manually fixing the Friends List may result in encountering the “Failed to Join Lobby” error. In such cases, restarting Helldivers 2 and re-adding your friends using their codes could potentially resolve the issue.
