In Helldivers 2, you’ll sometimes find yourself in situations where your equipment and on-the-ground strategy may not suffice. However, you’re in good hands with Helldiver Command, which provides firepower and backup with Stratagems.

How to use Stratagem Codes in Helldivers 2

Stratagems in Helldivers 2 are potent devices or upgrades available during missions. They fall into four categories: Offensive, Defensive, Support, and Special, each serving a unique purpose. Whether you’re playing solo or with friends, Stratagems are crucial for success.

To utilize a Stratagem, players must input the correct code sequence using the D-pad. Between missions, players can upgrade Stratagems to enhance their effectiveness, ranging from cooldown reduction to increased damage and quicker activation times.

Tip: For instance, to summon a Strafing Run (►►▲), input Right, Right, then Up on the D-pad sequentially.

Not all Stratagems are accessible initially; more unlock as you rank up. You can carry up to four Stratagems, along with any bonus Stratagems issued by Helldiver Command for specific missions.
