Mind Spike inflicts Shadowfrost damage on the target while also boosting the critical strike chance of your next Mind Blast by 30 percent, with the effect stacking up to three times. How to get the Mind Spike Rune in WoW Classic Season of Discovery
To acquire the Mind Spike Rune in WoW Classic Season of Discovery, complete the Highway Robbery questline, which becomes available upon reaching level 30. Begin by locating an Extinguished Campfire northwest of the Kodo Graveyard in the center of Desolace, at coordinates 47, 54, and interact with it to trigger the questline.
Next, travel northeast to find Bibbly F’utzbuckle near Kormek’s Hut at coordinates 63, 39. Speak to him, complete the Highway Robbery quest, and accept the On the Lam quest.
Proceed to the Eastern Kingdoms and journey to Booty Bay, where you’ll find Tokal on the lower level of the inn. Turn in the On the Lam quest by speaking to her and accept the Cherry for Your Thoughts? quest. To complete it, purchase a Cherry Grog from the bartender and deliver it to Tokal. Subsequently, she will offer you the No Honor Among Thieves quest.
This marks the final quest in the chain, which you can complete in Arathi Highlands. Locate a rowboat by the sea between Arathi Highlands and Wetlands at coordinates 53, 91, and interact with it to teleport to the eastern shore of the zone. There, you’ll find Illari Duskfeather. Engage in dialogue with Illari, and unless you’re a Night Elf, you’ll be forced into combat with her. She is level 40, so consider bringing allies if your level is lower.
Upon defeating Illari (or selecting the friendly option if you’re a Night Elf), she will drop a pouch containing Illari’s Key. Use this key to unlock Illari’s Loot Cache nearby, which contains a Jewel-Encrusted Box. Open the box to obtain the Mind Spike Rune.
