Is there PvP in Last Epoch?
Currently, Last Epoch does not offer any PvP options. Players can only engage in cooperative play with friends, forming parties of up to four to tackle challenging quests together. Although Last Epoch features an Arena in its endgame content, it focuses on players battling waves of enemies rather than engaging in direct PvP combat. The Arena includes an online leaderboard to track players’ performance based on how many waves they survive before succumbing.
Will PvP be added to Last Epoch?
As of the current moment, the possibility of Last Epoch introducing a PvP mode is plausible. Eleventh Hour Games has shown interest in the idea, expressing eagerness for it in a forum post back in February 2023. While the developers have not made a definitive commitment to implementing PvP, they acknowledged the demand for it. However, they clarified that PvP would not be included in the 1.0 update, emphasizing their priority on perfecting the PvE experience first.
Although Last Epoch PvP remains a potential addition to the game’s future content, its realization depends on Eleventh Hour Games’ decisions and circumstances. As of now, with no recent mentions of PvP development, players should not anticipate its introduction in the near future.
