There are 4 classes in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor: Scout, Gunner, Driller, and Engineer. Although they share names with classes in Deep Rock Galactic, there are distinctions worth noting.

In Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, each class dictates the character’s stats, gameplay mechanics, available weapons, and interactions with the environment and adversaries. Parameters such as Max HP, Critical Chance, and Critical Damage vary among the classes, each possessing a unique enhanced ability. Additionally, players can select from three class mods for each class, which function as subclasses determining the starting weapon and providing a stat bonus.

Scout

For those preferring agility and high critical damage, the Scout is the apt choice. Specializing in long-range weaponry, the Scout boasts a heightened chance of evading enemy attacks. Here are the Scout’s stats in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor:

  • Max HP: 120
  • Dodge: Five-percent boost
  • Critical Chance: Five percent boost
  • Critical Damage: 200 percent boost

The available class mods for the Scout include Classic, Recon, and Sharp Shooter. Initially, players have access to the Classic mod, which enhances movement speed by 10 percent and adds 20 points to the Scout’s max health. The primary weapon for this class is the Deepcore GK2, a burst-firing rifle targeting nearby enemies with Kinetic damage.

Gunner

Unlocked upon reaching Player Rank Twp, the Gunner trades agility for resilience, boasting the highest HP among the classes and starting with armor. Here are the Gunner’s stats in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor:

  • Max HP: 160
  • Armor: 10
  • Critical Chance: Five percent boost
  • Critical Damage: 150 percent boost

Players can opt for the Weapons Specialist, Juggernaut, or Heavy Gunner class mods, commencing with the Weapons Specialist. This mod equips the player with the “Lead Storm” Powered Minigun, unleashing eight high-powered projectiles in all directions for every 100 projectiles fired.

When reaching the Heavy Gunner subclass, players gain access to heavy weapons at the expense of a 10 percent reduction in movement speed. This subclass offers 25 percent increased weapon range and reload speed for heavy weapons, along with the “Thunderhead” Heavy Autocannon as the primary weapon, firing explosive projectiles in a single direction, targeting the highest HP enemy.

Driller

In Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, the Driller, despite its close-combat focus on digging and mining, benefits from a top-down view, sparing players from constant stone wall observation. Here are the Driller’s stats in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor:

The Driller’s subclasses include Foreman, Interrogator, and Strong Armed. The Foreman class mod grants a two-percent increase in mining speed for two seconds, stackable up to 25 times. The primary weapon for this class is the Subata 120, dealing Kinetic damage and firing behind the player.

Engineer

Thriving on passive damage through technological prowess, the Engineer employs turrets, plasma weapons, drones, and explosives to navigate and combat adversaries. Here are the Engineer’s stats in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor:

The Engineer’s class mods encompass Maintenance Worker, Tinkerer, and Demolitionist. Opting for the Maintenance Worker subclass provides the LMG Gun Platform as the primary weapon, along with Construct Weapons, a 10 percent damage boost, and quicker reload speed.

Unlocking the Tinkerer subclass elevates all weapons to level four and increases experience gain by 10 percent. The main weapon for this class is the “Warthog” Auto 210, delivering steady rhythmic fire and dealing Kinetic damage.
