During the latest Genshin Impact Special Program livestream, Hoyoverse unveiled a new type of banner set to debut in version 4.5. Known as the Chronicled Wish, this banner presents players with an opportunity to acquire coveted five-star characters and weapons that have been unavailable for a while.
Launching in version 4.5 of Genshin Impact, the Chronicled Wish banner will feature six five-star characters and over 10 different five-star weapons. Despite the wide selection, players shouldn’t face difficulty in obtaining their desired character or weapon, as Hoyoverse assures the ability to target specific choices.
How does the Chronicled Wish banner work in Genshin Impact?
Explaining the mechanics of the Chronicled Wish banner during the Genshin Impact Special Program livestream, Hoyoverse revealed that it only requires a maximum of one fate point to guarantee the player’s desired target. Additionally, players are ensured to receive an item corresponding to their target type, ensuring that those aiming for a five-star character will obtain a character, and likewise for weapons.
Which characters will be featured in Chronicled Wish in Genshin Impact?
The Chronicled Wish banner will exclusively showcase five-star characters that have appeared in at least three character-event banners and haven’t been featured in recent banners.
During the March special program where the banner was introduced, Hoyoverse presented six characters and 11 weapons, including four claymores, two catalysts, two swords, two bows, and a polearm.
