Breeding Pals in Palworld: A Step-by-Step Guide

Expanding your team in Palworld is a breeze through the art of breeding. By bringing two Pals together at your base and following a few simple steps, you can effortlessly introduce new members to your squad—one delicious Cake at a time.

To commence the breeding journey, construct the Pal Breeding Farm, an unlocked station available at level 19. Gathering 100 wood, 200 stone, and 50 fiber is all it takes to set up this essential facility. Once established on your base, choose two Pals of opposite genders and place them inside.

However, successful breeding involves an additional requirement—providing Cake inside the designated box that accompanies the Pal Breeding Farm. Crafting Cake involves a mix of resources, but once you grasp the recipe, the process becomes a straightforward delight.

How many Cakes do you need to breed in Palworld?

For each pair of breeding Pals, you’ll need one Cake. This facilitates the mating process, resulting in the production of a single Egg. Remember to place the Cake into the box at the Pal Breeding Farm; otherwise, the two Pals won’t breed. The game provides a notification if you forget, prompting you to add more Cake to the station.

Creating a Cake is straightforward. Unlock and build a Cooking Pot at your base and gather the following ingredients:

  • Five Flour
  • Eight Red Berries
  • Seven Milk
  • Eight Eggs
  • Two Honey

Harvest Red Berries from bushes in the wild or obtain them from Caprity assigned to the Ranch. Milk is provided by Mozzarina at the Ranch, while Eggs can be sourced from Chikipi in the wild or at the Ranch. Honey is found from defeated Beegardes or those assigned to the Ranch. Flour, on the other hand, requires Wheat and a Mill.

With these simple steps and ingredients, you’re well on your way to expanding your Palworld team through the delightful process of breeding.
