Best Bladedancer leveling build in Last Epoch

The Bladedancer remains a favored Mastery for the Rogue class in Last Epoch, offering substantial damage output that easily dispatches foes.

Having previously experimented with the Warlock during early access, I’ve now embarked on my journey with the Bladedancer in Last Epoch. Here, I share the leveling build for the Bladedancer that has proven effective for me thus far.

Best Bladecancer Shadow Cascade leveling build

Skills

  • Shurikens (Specialized)
  • Shift (Specialized)
  • Shadow Cascade (Specialized)
  • Synchronized Strike
  • Umbral Blades

My goal ultimately is to adopt TriKster’s Shadow Cascade Bladedancer build in Last Epoch. Hence, my leveling build serves as a precursor to that, gradually acquiring the necessary core skills for the main build.

Shift plays a pivotal role in my early game build, offering mobility to evade danger. As I unlock nodes in the skill tree post-selecting Shift as my initial Specialized Skill, its utility amplifies significantly. The Shadow Cascade triggers upon using Shift, and with the Swift Recovery node, it replenishes Mana, while Shadowslip renders me invulnerable during shifting.

Another vital component early on is Shurikens, serving as the primary damage source until the Blade Shield node unlocks. Subsequently, the skill usage shifts from ranged attacks to triggering it and shifting into enemy clusters for enhanced AoE damage.

Shadow Cascade unlocks after allocating five points in the Bladedancer Passive skill tree. Initial focus should be on nodes like Dismantle, Onslaught, and Fight in the Shadows to bolster Mana sustainability. Umbral Blades offers significant enhancements but need not be slotted on the skill bar, allowing flexibility to use Decoy for evasion if desired.

Passives

Passives play a crucial role, necessitating minimal investment in the Rogue passive tree. Allocate a single point in Guile and Twin Blade while maximizing Swift Assassin, Evasion, and Agility. Unlocking Evasion mandates five points in the tree, so distribute four in Swift Assassin and one in Guile.

Upon unlocking the Bladedancer skill tree post-Mastery selection, allocate five points in Pursuit and max out Once. This unlocks Shadow Cascade and Synchronized Strike skills, pivotal for the build’s progression toward endgame. Subsequently, assign a point each to Cloak of Shadows and Shroud of Dusk, unlocking Veil of Night, which should be fully maximized.

Gear

Gear-wise, prioritize items offering Mana Regeneration, Health, Endurance, and Crit Chance, as they prove more beneficial later in the game. Early on, gear with Health on Hit or Health Leech provides a significant survivability boost.

For Loot Filter, I’ve utilized Gringo’s Ultimate Loot Filter, which caters to all classes. It serves as an excellent starting point to filter out irrelevant gear and can be customized later to suit individual preferences.
