How to get and use the Anchor Energy Converter in Pacific Drive

Several battery upgrades are available to ensure you have sufficient energy for your journey, but I’ve discovered that one of the final upgrades stands out as the best. Let’s delve into how to acquire and utilize the Anchor Energy Converter in Pacific Drive.

Pacific Drive Anchor Energy Converter – Crafting and Usage Guide

While many battery upgrades serve specific situations, such as the Lightning Rod or Solar Panel, which I utilized for an extended period, the Pacific Drive Anchor Energy Converter proves valuable across various trips, particularly in the middle and late stages of the game. Let’s explore how to craft and employ it:

You’ll find the Anchor Energy Converter upgrade on the Fabricator under the Battery Tab. Before accessing it, you’ll need to unlock several other blueprints, but the effort is well worth it.

PrerequisiteCrafting Materials
– Unlock High-capacity battery- Advanced Workbench- Scan all three Anchor types- Unlock a Side Rack- Research LIM Chip– Scrap Metal x8- Copper Wire x15- LIM Chip x2

Once crafted, you’ll need to install it on a Side rack. I recommend using this as your primary source of battery power, reserving the remaining Side racks for storage purposes.

To utilize the Anchor Energy Converter, you must first search for Anchors. While any type of energy Anchor will suffice, I recommend opting for the Stable ones as they are more readily available.

Later on, as you unlock all upgrades requiring Stable energy, you can specifically collect them for the Converter or the Tinker Station, facilitating the identification and resolution of car issues.

When acquiring an Anchor, refrain from placing it in the ARC device! If you wish to recharge your battery, head to the Anchor Energy Converter instead and insert it in the same manner as you would for the ARC device. Once inserted, the Converter will absorb the power and replenish your car’s energy, allowing you to continue your journey.
