Taming Process
Taming a Gigantoraptor in Ark Survival: Ascended follows an unconventional method. Since adult Gigantoraptors are untamable, you must focus on taming their offspring.
To achieve this, distract the adult Gigantoraptor and sneak into its nest. Utilize the prompt to hide within the nest, attracting the attention of a baby Gigantoraptor. Engage in a mini-game with the baby by mimicking its emotes promptly to establish a bond.
Exercise caution, as the parents may become aggressive if they detect your presence in the nest. Quickly retreat if attacked and retry the taming process as needed.
Some players have successfully used eggs as bait to distract adult Gigantoraptors, allowing for easier interaction with their offspring. Constructing traps near nests can also facilitate the process, ensuring proximity to activate the mini-game.
