How to Destroy Fuel Reserves in Helldivers 2

As the conflict persists against the Automatons, our mission extends beyond eliminating the robot threats themselves to targeting their ammunition and fuel supplies. Here’s a guide on how to disrupt the fuel reserves’ operations on Mavelon Creek.

Using Hellbombs to Destroy Fuel Reserves

The fuel reserves are prominent cylindrical towers within the Automaton bases’ landscape. Upon approach, your objective typically involves neutralizing two of these towers. To achieve this, utilize the Hellbomb Stratagem, automatically provided for these specific missions. Place the bomb strategically between the reserves, maximizing its impact.

Once the bomb is positioned, arm it by inputting the code and ensuring your team evacuates the area due to the bomb’s larger-than-expected explosion radius. A well-placed bomb should obliterate both reserves simultaneously. In case of misplacement, another bomb can be called in after a brief delay.

Efficiently approach this task by targeting Automaton facilities, identified by their spawners, and dispatching grenades into their exhaust ports. Additionally, eliminate any wandering enemies to avoid unexpected confrontations while handling explosive devices.

If your mission entails neutralizing multiple sets of fuel reserves, rest assured that additional Hellbombs will be provided at each site. Therefore, temporary disappearance of the Hellbomb from your Stratagem list is normal.

The outcome of the war appears uncertain at present. Complicating matters, some individuals engage in farming Defend missions and then abandoning the Operation, inadvertently aiding the Automatons’ war efforts. Only time will reveal the ultimate outcome. For now, let’s remain proactive and engage in the battle, even if the odds seem daunting.
