Warzone and MW3 Servers Have Reset The Players Stats

This isn’t the first time Call of Duty has faced server issues, but the current one affecting Warzone and MW3 has persisted for too long. Despite the servers showing as online on Activision’s website for nearly 12 hours, players are unable to log in. Even for those who manage to access the main menu, all progress seems to have been lost.

Update: February 24th

The Call of Duty: Warzone and MW3 servers are now operational, except for the Ranked Play mode in both games. According to the Call of Duty Updates X account, additional fixes are forthcoming for both titles.

What Happened to The Call of Duty Servers?

A few hours ago, while attempting to exfil from the Dark Aether in MWZ, the game abruptly kicked me, along with countless other players, out of the lobbies. Subsequently, the game crashed, preventing re-entry. This issue affected players on all platforms: Steam, Battle.Net, Xbox, and PlayStation.

Reported issues include:

  • Reset player levels.
  • Reset Battle Pass progression.
  • Unavailability of online lobbies.
  • Difficulty entering the game in some regions.
  • Wiped loadouts.
  • Complete unavailability of MWZ.

Such server issues are not unfamiliar to dedicated Call of Duty fans, having endured worse scenarios with Black Ops 4 and previous Warzone seasons. However, developers don’t always promptly address server crashes. This time, though, we have received an update.

When Will Warzone and MW3 Servers Get Fixed?

The official Activision Support website has labeled the server status of Warzone and MW3 as “Limited.” There’s no definite timeframe for the fix on Call of Duty: Warzone and MW3 servers. However, reports indicate that some players have managed to access the game’s menus with full functionality for Battle Pass and Loadouts tabs.

As of now, a patch has been released for the game, available for download on all platforms. However, even with the patch installed, players are still encountering difficulties accessing the game. It’s likely that a hotfix will be issued soon, restoring all saved profile and progression data for players. Unfortunately, if you were kicked from the game while carrying an ultra-rare schematic in Zombies, any progress made in that particular match is lost.
