Nightingale Bastille of Insight Puzzle Solution
To solve the Bastille of Insight puzzle in Nightingale, activate several runes near the Fae structure. When encountering this point of interest in the open world, you’ll typically find several stone pillars surrounding the puzzle core, with runes often located on the surface of these rocks.
Small fairies may be present around the Bastille of Insight in Nightingale, but they are unrelated to the puzzle, so you can ignore them. Additionally, they can be challenging to eliminate due to their ability to quickly fly away.
Here are the steps to solve this puzzle:
- Explore the Bastille of Insight to locate glowing red spots.
- Approach the light until prompted to examine.
- Find several other runes until the puzzle core activates.
- Release Hope Echo from the center of the puzzle core to claim your reward.
Fortunately, unlike the Bastille of Intellect, you do not need to activate the runes in a specific order. Most of the time, examining three runes is sufficient to activate the puzzle core.
Bastille of Insight in Dungeons
In addition to encountering the Bastille of Insight in the open world, you may also come across this puzzle while exploring dungeons in Nightingale. This challenge poses a greater difficulty as the runes are concealed in hard-to-spot locations.
I recommend meticulously examining every room and wall in the area, as well as destroying any breakable objects, as a rune could be hidden behind them.
During my playthrough, I entered a dungeon via a small portal and encountered a Bastille of Insight puzzle. I had to traverse several floors to locate all the runes. One was concealed behind a treasure chest, another behind breakable barrels, and the last was positioned behind a large lamp.
Completing the Bastille of Insight usually rewards you with Hope Echo, containing various structure blueprints. However, when solving this puzzle inside a dungeon, you may receive a Bundle of Essence instead.
