With numerous electrical anomalies roaming around, the risk is high whenever you venture out for a drive, especially with additional Conditions that amplify them. Discover how to handle electrical damage in Pacific Drive.

How to avoid electrical damage in Pacific Drive

Both you and your vehicle will inevitably encounter electrical anomalies, so it’s wise to be prepared. Here’s how to steer clear of electrical damage in Pacific Drive through upgrades to your car and outfit.

For your vehicle, upgrading is essential. Head to the Fabricator and navigate to the Car Body section. Here, you’ll find three insulated body parts that can be fitted to your car. These parts not only provide increased electrical resistance but also boast higher health compared to steel parts.

Upgrade NamePre-RequisiteDescription
Insulated Panel– Basic Workbench- Scan two electric Anomalies- Research Steel Sheet– Health 60- Electrical Resist 25%- Blocks Charged Status
Insulated Door– Basic Workbench- Scan a Spark Tower Anomaly- Research Steel Sheet– Health 60- Electrical Resist 15%- Blocks Charged Status
Insulated Bumper– Basic Workbench- Scan a Crackling Crawler Anomaly- Research Steel Sheet– Health 60- Electrical Resist 35%- Blocks Charged Status

While having your car insulated against electrical damage is vital, protecting yourself is equally crucial. There have been many instances when I’ve encountered the Minuteman anomaly while outside the car.

To obtain upgrades for yourself, first unlock the Outfitting Station on the Fabricator under the Garage section. You’ll need to unlock the Matter Deconstructor first before accessing the Station. To craft the Outfitting Station, gather:

  • Scrap Metal x7
  • Plastic x15
  • Chemicals x2
  • Gas Cylinder x2

Once you have the necessary materials, place the upgrade in the Garage and explore the range of outfit pieces you can craft. Focus on acquiring those that offer protection against electrical damage.
