How To Get Quartz in Nightingale

Quartz, much like other vital resources and crafting materials in Nightingale, plays a significant role in enhancing your survival chances. However, acquiring Quartz without resorting to extensive exploration and altar searches can be exhausting and daunting. Primarily, Quartz finds its utility in various applications, with its early use revolving around Glass production. Let’s delve into obtaining Raw Quartz in Nightingale.

How To Mine Quartz in Nightingale

Quartz deposits are typically found in rocky terrains featuring substantial ore reserves akin to Tin. Locating them is relatively straightforward, but extracting Quartz requires a bit more effort. You can’t merely venture into the Fae Wilds on your first day and start chipping away at Quartz deposits. You’ll need a Pickaxe with a Gear Power of at least 10. However, the initial pickaxe you craft falls short of this requirement, rendering it unsuitable unless you’re targeting Stone Blocks obtainable from smaller boulders.

To craft a superior Pickaxe, you must first establish and have access to the Simple Workbench. To achieve this, you’ll need:

  • Simple Workbench
  • 10x Wood Bundle
  • 4x Plant Fibre

Once the workbench is ready, you can craft the Simple Mining Pick using:

  • Simple Mining Pick
  • 1x Stone Block
  • 1x Wood Bundle
  • 2x Straps

Remember, Straps can be fabricated at the Tannery using Animal Hide. With the Simple Mining Pick in hand, you’ll possess adequate Mining Power to break Quartz deposits and collect Raw Quartz.

Nightingale is currently available on PC.
