Items that can be used as Fuel in Nightingale
In Nightingale, Fuel isn’t readily available; instead, you utilize collected resources to sustain the fire. Here are the resources suitable for Fuel:
- Plant Fibers
- Sticks
- Wood Bundles
Plant Fibers and Sticks are obtainable from the wilderness. Gather shrubs resembling the one below to acquire Plant Fibers.
Similarly, Sticks can be harvested from shrubs, as illustrated below.
Wood Bundles require chopping down trees with an Axe, yielding the necessary bundles for collection.
Once you’ve amassed a sufficient quantity of these items, proceed to the nearest Campfire to utilize them as Fuel in Nightingale.
How to use Fuel in Nightingale
To utilize items as Fuel in Nightingale, construct a Campfire using six Rocks. Locate a Campfire spot and interact with its base to prompt the “Add Fuel from Inventory” option.
Subsequently, add appropriate resources—Plant Fibers, Sticks, or Wood Bundles—to the Fuel slots for the Campfire and select Ignite.
For convenience, pressing the Shift key while selecting items allows you to choose half the quantity instead of the entire stack. While the fire burns, you can craft various food items like Roasted Berries, Plants, Meat, and more in the Campfire.
Once the Fuel is consumed, the fire extinguishes automatically. Alternatively, press the E button to manually extinguish the fire and conserve Fuel in Nightingale.
