Once you complete the tutorial in Nightingale, you’re given the responsibility of constructing your initial Estate, which serves as the foundation of your village. However, acquiring Stone Blocks, a crucial building material, isn’t explicitly explained in the game.
As you advance in Nightingale, you’ll realize that Stone Blocks are indispensable for nearly every structure. It’s evident that you’ll need a substantial supply of them throughout your journey. Fortunately, gathering Stone Blocks isn’t as daunting as it may initially appear, regardless of the biome you select.
Nightingale: How to obtain Stone Blocks
When aiming to construct your initial Estate, you must collect 20 Rocks and five Stone Blocks. While gathering Rocks is straightforward as they’re scattered everywhere, obtaining Stone Blocks requires a bit more effort.
There’s no need for concern. You can acquire Stone Blocks by breaking boulders scattered across the map with your Pickaxe. Simply equip the tool and approach one of these boulders, indicated by a green pickaxe icon, to mine it and obtain your Stone Blocks.
To construct your first Estate, mining two boulders will provide the necessary five Stone Blocks. However, as you progress, you’ll require increasing amounts of Stone Blocks for other constructions. Thankfully, as you recruit Survivors to your Party, they will automatically gather resources around your base, making the process less arduous and time-consuming than it was initially.
