Nightingale | Abeyance Card, Explained

Nightingale features numerous Realm Cards that influence the modifiers and parameters of the realm you establish at a Portal Network. Among the initial Realm Cards you unlock is the Abeyance Card, although the game doesn’t provide explicit details about it. Here’s everything you need to understand about the Abeyance Card in Nightingale and how to acquire it.

What is an Abeyance Card in Nightingale?

In Nightingale, an Abeyance Card determines the difficulty and parameters of the Realm you establish at a Portal. Specifically, it creates a Realm with minimal danger, allowing you to construct your own Estate via an Estate Cairn.

When you utilize an Abeyance Card as one of the Major Cards at a portal, the resulting Realm will have a Realm Level of 10, representing the easiest Realm possible. Essentially, Realms generated with an Abeyance Card serve as beginner realms where you embark on your Nightingale adventure.

How to Craft an Abeyance Card

You can craft an Abeyance Card at a Simple Enchanter’s Focus, one of the many crafting tables in Nightingale. Both the recipe for the Simple Enchanter’s Focus and the Abeyance Card can be obtained from the Abeyance Essence Trader found in any Abeyance Realm. They are sold for 40 Essence Dust and 30 Essence Dust, respectively.

Once you’ve constructed the Simple Enchanter’s Focus, you can craft an Abeyance Card using the following materials:

After crafting the Abeyance Card, you can use it at any Portal to generate a new Realm with a Realm Level of 10. However, you’ll need to pair the Abeyance Card with a biome Realm Card. Once used, the Abeyance Card will be consumed, necessitating the creation of a new one if you wish to generate another Abeyance Realm.
