Sons of the Forest: How to Befriend Virginia

Upon Virginia’s initial approach, which may be your first encounter with the natives of the island, there might be a sense of apprehension. However, with Virginia, there’s no need for fear. Easily identifiable by her distinctive appearance, she sports a silver-colored bathing suit and possesses three legs and three arms. Upon her first appearance, you’ll unmistakably recognize her.

When Virginia approaches you initially, refrain from feeling intimidated. As long as you haven’t provoked her, she poses no threat. When she appears, holster any weapons by pressing the “G” key and approach her slowly. Initially, she may flee swiftly, but with repeated friendly gestures, she’ll gradually become more receptive.

After some time, Virginia will permit your approach, allowing you to even offer her weapons from your inventory. While you can’t issue commands to her like you can with Kelvin, she’ll loyally linger around your base and eventually aid you in combat. Occasionally, she may even present you with gifts of resources collected from around the island, signifying her trust in you.

To summarize:

  • Always holster your weapons when Virginia visits your base.
  • Approach Virginia cautiously.
  • Continue approaching Virginia during her visits until she no longer flees.
  • Enjoy Virginia’s presence at your base by outfitting her, accepting her gifts, and equipping her with weapons to assist in your battles against the cannibals.
