Resplendent Sparks have been introduced as a novel resource in Diablo 4 during Season of the Construct through Patch 1.3.2. This addition plays a pivotal role in a fresh system designed to grant players greater autonomy in selecting their desired Uber Unique items.
For the uninitiated, Uber Unique items hold the title of being the most elusive in all of Diablo 4, surpassing even Unique items with their exclusive effects. Prior to the release of Patch 1.3.2, players could target specific Uber Unique items by summoning and defeating the Uber Duriel boss. However, with the introduction of a new crafting system, players can now craft a particular Uber Unique item of their choosing, courtesy of Resplendent Sparks.
How do you get Resplendent Sparks in Diablo 4?
Acquiring Resplendent Sparks entails salvaging Uber Unique items, essentially repurposing spare or undesired Uber Unique items to craft the ones desired. As part of the patch, Blizzard has increased “the chance for Uber Unique Items to drop everywhere but in Uber Duriel encounters,” potentially resulting in more surplus items in your inventory.
To obtain Resplendent Sparks, simply salvage any redundant or unwanted Uber Unique item at the blacksmith. Each salvaged Uber Unique item yields a single Resplendent Spark.
How to use Resplendent Sparks in Diablo 4
To craft a specific Uber Unique item, players must expend five Resplendent Sparks and 50 million gold at the alchemist. The recipes for specific Uber Unique items can be found in the Transmutation section of the alchemist menu, which has replaced the previously named Refine Resources tab.
As of Diablo 4 season three, there are seven active Uber Unique items that can be either dropped or crafted:
- Ahavarion, Spear of Lycander (staff)
- Andariel’s Visage (helm)
- Doombringer (one-handed sword)
- Harlequin Crest (helm)
- Melted Heart of Selig (amulet)
- Ring of Starless Skies (ring)
- The Grandfather (two-handed sword)
With this new feature, players can convert spare Uber Uniques they no longer require into the materials needed to create the desired item or prepare themselves to obtain a new Uber Unique promptly upon its addition to Diablo 4.
