- The new cave is situated in the northeast of the island, close to a small lake adjacent to a smaller one.
- You’ll come across a cluster of rocks with a small entrance atop.
- Proceed along the path until you encounter the subway waterfall, then follow the direction of the water.
- Further along, you’ll encounter another waterfall with a significant drop; descend to the deepest point and begin diving.
- As you swim and dive, follow the path downward until you find another surface exit.
- Proceed towards the square-looking rocks, beyond which lies a passage resembling a rectangular stone door; continue to the opposite side.
- Keep advancing until you reach another waterfall leading to an area with more water.
- Dive to the bottom and continue along the path until you find two diverging paths; choose the right one until you can resurface.
- Climb up some rocks where wooden debris or a fence is present. On the other side, you’ll find another water tunnel to dive through.
- Continue until you find an area where you can surface for air; three bodies will be hanging nearby.
- Head left until you spot a small orange staircase next to the solafite ore. The mining pickaxe awaits you there.
Once you obtain the mining pickaxe in Sons of the Forest, utilize the time spent in the cave to gather solafite. This mineral is abundant in this location and is essential for creating solafite variants of certain tool upgrades.
