How to farm Elder Armor in Enshrouded
There exists a clear and efficient route to farm Elder Armor set pieces in Enshrouded. Although somewhat laborious, the effort is well rewarded. Follow these steps:
Prepare your Flame Altar
If your map is dotted with Flame Altars and you’ve reached your limit, ensure to remove at least one to make room for a new one at the location of the Elder set chest.
Head to the Sun Temple in the southwest corner of the map
Although reaching the Sun Temple poses challenges due to its high-level status, with the appropriate level, equipment, and buffs, accessing the chest location should be feasible. The indicated area on the map is relatively accessible.
Find the chest
Navigate to the farthest edge of the map, where you’ll encounter small platforms of varying heights. The chest is situated on one of these platforms, nestled amidst the rocky walls.
Open the chest, exit the game, and return
Upon locating the chest, open it to claim the loot. You may receive either a random piece of the Elder set or an alternative item. Exit the area and the game. Upon returning, teleport to your Flame Altar and revisit the chest location. Repeat this process to acquire additional items.
Alternative method: clear the areas around Scatterbone
In addition to the chest mentioned above, Elder set gear pieces can also be found in the vicinity of the Scatterbone enemy camp, north of the Sun Temple. Explore the area, solve Sun Temple puzzles, engage enemies, and ascend towers to discover various chests containing potential Elder set pieces.
