Sequestered Mane can be acquired in Granblue Fantasy: Relink through two methods: completing the Saga Illustrated: Crystal quest or trading at Siero’s Knickknack Shack.
To obtain Sequestered Mane, the Saga Illustrated: Crystal quest is your primary option. This challenging Maniac-level boss quest pits you against Managamr, the massive ice wolf encountered in Chapter Five. However, obtaining Sequestered Mane isn’t guaranteed—it’s a random drop, complicating matters.
To increase your chances of obtaining Sequestered Mane, aim for a high quest rank by swiftly defeating the boss to earn more treasure chests. Note that the AFK Farm trick won’t work here since Assist Mode is disabled for Maniac quests.
Managamr’s weakness lies in Earth elemental attacks, so include at least one character with Earth-based skills in your party. Characters like Eugen, Cagliostro, or Siegfried are suitable options, provided they are adequately leveled and equipped.
Additionally, bring a healer along, as some of Managamr’s attacks are challenging to evade, particularly in its Speed form. Katalina is recommended for her healing abilities and the skill to grant temporary invincibility to the entire party.
