Persona 3 Reload: How to Get to the Velvet Room Outside Tartarus

The Velvet Room plays a crucial role in Persona 3 Reload, facilitating Persona fusion to enhance your combat capabilities. Here’s how to reach the Velvet Room outside of Tartarus in P3R.

How to Access the Velvet Room Anytime in Persona 3 Reload

Upon entering Tartarus for the first time, you’ll discover a mysterious door on the main floor granting access to the Velvet Room. However, the Velvet Room isn’t confined to Tartarus—a door also manifests in the real world, precisely at Paulownia Mall.

To locate this door, head to Paulownia Mall and locate the police station northwest of the fountain. An alleyway beneath the staircase to the left of the police station conceals the secret entrance to the Velvet Room.

Proceed north towards the potted plant, then turn right to discover the Velvet Room door. This entrance is accessible whenever you control the main protagonist outside of Tartarus. Therefore, you can fuse or register Personas at any time, eliminating the need to wait for the Dark Hour. This flexibility proves invaluable, particularly for enhancing Social Links, as owning a Persona of the corresponding Arcana boosts relationship points. Utilize the Velvet Room entrance to easily swap Personas and maximize your Social Links.

Moreover, besides Persona fusion, the Velvet Room’s location at Paulownia Mall grants regular access to Elizabeth, enabling you to fulfill her requests conveniently. From 5/10 onwards, Elizabeth stands outside the Velvet Room door at either location. Engage with her at Paulownia Mall to manage and complete her requests without entering Tartarus.

Now that you know how to access the Velvet Room outside of Tartarus, consider learning how to adjust your game’s difficulty in Persona 3 Reload. This knowledge proves invaluable when confronting challenging or higher-level Personas.
