Dragon Scales may also drop from the Ancient Dragon you encounter in this quest. Note that this quest is challenging, so ensure you meet the minimum requirements.
How to unlock the Wings of Antiquity quest
To unlock the “Wings of Antiquity” quest, complete the main campaign and achieve a Veteran Skyfarer rank. If you haven’t reached this rank, complete more quests available at the Quest Counter and unlock the Very Hard quests.
Once you attain the Veteran Skyfarer rank and finish the main campaign, you can access this quest from the Quest Counters at Folca or Seedhollow.
How to complete the Wings of Antiquity quest
The primary objective of the “Wings of Antiquity” quest is to defeat the Ancient Dragon within a specified time limit. Aim to accomplish this within eight or four minutes for bonus rewards, including the Dragon Scale.
Your power level should be at least 4,200 for this battle. Consider leveling up if you lack confidence. Water element allies like Lancelot, Vane, or Katalina are recommended. Lancelot is particularly effective against the dragon.
Watch out for the dragon’s attacks and counter them accordingly:
- Cone of fire breath: Move away or dodge left/right.
- Single fiery ball: Dodge left/right.
- Pounce: Avoid the targeted area.
- Stomp: Move out of the way.
- Claw swipe: Dodge back or avoid.
- Rotating tail swipe: Dodge.
- Overdrive: Evade or step into gaps.
