In Palworld, obtaining resources like Stone, Wood, and Ore for Ingots—of which you will require a large number during your playthrough—represents a large portion of the grind. From the most productive to the least productive, these are Pals that are the best for mining in Palworld!
Best Pals for Palworld Mining Resources
Finding the best Pals for Mining makes sense because, while playing Palworld, I can’t even begin to tell you how many Stone and Ingots I go through every day!
Pal | Mining Level | Tier |
---|---|---|
Astegon | Level 4 Mining | S |
Blazamut | Level 4 Mining | S |
Digtoise | Coal Mining Level 3 | A |
Anubis | Level 2 Mining | B |
Dumud | Level 2 Mining | B |
Mammorest | Level 2 Mining | B |
Depresso | Level 1 Mining | C |
Cattiva | Level 1 Mining | C |
When it comes to mining work suitability and sheer availability in the early game, no other pal can compare to Cattiva. They are dispersed throughout! However, in my opinion—and I know that many others do as well—no creature is like Depresso. His animation for mining is excellent.
Go up the list, though, if efficiency is the topic of discussion. You obviously want A-Tier or S-Tier, and for Stone and Ore, the most sought-after are Anubis, Digtoise, and Astegon!
Where at Base Are Resources Mined?
You need to construct a Stone Pit if you want a steady supply of resources, particularly Stone, at your base. At Technology Level 7, it is comparatively early in the game and requires:
- 20 Wood
- 50 Stones in one line
- 10 times the Paldium Fragment
You can designate the aforementioned Pals manually or let them designate themselves automatically once you lay down a Stone Pit.
Alternatively, you can mine Ore to craft Ingots if you position your base strategically to cover a node that respawns over time. You require a Pal with Mining Level 2 to mine Ore automatically.
