Diablo 4 | How to Get Kulle’s Heart Journals

“Kulle’s Heart” is a side seasonal quest in Diablo 4 Season 3, and just by chance, it’s proving to be very difficult. I’ll go over where to find more of Zoltun’s journals and if they function as intended in my guide.

Where in Diablo 4 Can I Find More of Kulle’s Journals?

After a Nightmare Vault in Season 3 ends, you can open a Wardwoven Chest to obtain Zoltan Kulle’s Journals. It can theoretically take a long time to complete the Kulle’s Heart quest in the Season of the Construct because the chests only give you a chance for the quest item to drop. The quest is just tied to higher World Tiers, not a bug, as some players initially thought.

You can find the first two journals in the quest by just walking around The Gatehall with Ayuzhan. The journals are located on a table on the northern side of the hallway, and one can be picked up when you save Ayuzhan. When you choose to mark both of them as active in the Kulle’s Heart quest, they will appear on the map.

Where in D4 can I find Kulle’s Journals?

  • Gather the first two journals that are located in the Gatehall.
  • Open Wardwoven Chests and finish the Nightware Vaults.
  • The journals have the best chance at World Tier 4.
  • Additional journals may drop as rewards, there is a chance.

The rest of your journey is tied to the Vault grind once you obtain these two journals. In order to open a Wardwoven Chest, you must first find the remaining three of Kulle’s Journals by coming to the end of a Vault with one stack of Zoltun’s Warping. Additional Governing and Tuning Stones can be found in these reward chests, and there’s also a chance to find a quest item.

Although finishing Nightmare Vaults may give you a better chance of finishing the quest in Diablo 4 Season 3, it also makes keeping Zoltun’s Warding much more difficult. Hopefully, you will eventually be able to gather all five journals and put the quest to rest.

As a mechanic, make sure you understand what awaits you after finishing the main story and using Zoltun’s Warding.
