Persona 3 Reload | All Protagonist Theurgies (Fusion Spells)

Alright, fellow gamers, buckle up because we’re diving into the realm of Persona 3 Reload and unleashing the awesomeness that is the Protagonist’s Theurgies – the OG Fusion Spells making a stylish comeback. Brace yourself for the ultimate power moves in the game. Here’s the rundown of these game-changers:

All Protagonist Theurgies in Persona 3 Reload, Listed (P3R)

So, while the rest of the squad gets a taste of up to two Theurgies, the Protagonist flexes various ones representing some classic Fusion Spells from the good ol’ versions. The cool twist? All you need is to snag both Personas at some point and a full Theurgy gauge – no complicated rituals here.

Elizabeth, our trusty guide, will drop the news when you unlock a new Theurgy. Many of the required Personas come from her fusion requests – a little something to keep in mind. The Spells got a facelift to fit Reload’s groove, but some are still outright bonkers. Here’s the lowdown:

  • Cadenza: Orpheus + Apsaras
  • Restores 50% HP and boosts Accuracy/Evasion for the whole crew.
  • Jack Brothers: Jack Frost + Jack’o Lantern
  • Deals medium Almighty damage to all foes. High chance of knocking them down.
  • King and I: King Frost + Black Jack
  • Heavy Ice damage to all foes, cutting through resistances. Medium chance of freezing.
  • Best Friends: Decarabia + Forneus
  • Next physical/magical attack from an ally? Double the usual damage.
  • Scarlet Havoc: Siegfried + Mithras
  • Unleashes severe Slash damage on all foes, ignoring resistances.
  • Trickster: Loki + Susano’o
  • Hits all foes with massive Almighty damage. High chance of throwing in an ailment for good measure.
  • Armageddon: Satan + Helel
  • The big one. Ultimate Almighty damage to all foes, but it comes at a cost – your HP and SP drop to a measly 1.

Not every Fusion Spell made the cut, but the ones that did? Pure gold. And just like any other attack, these Theurgies feel the effects of Concentrate/Charge, depending on their damage type. Keep an eye out for Scarlet Havoc – it can Crit and knock enemies down, giving Trickster a run for its money in certain situations.

Oh, and let’s not forget Armageddon – the overpowered one-shot wonder that can annihilate even the mighty Reaper. Late-game goodness, though, as Helel comes into play at Level 88. And yes, it does come with a price, but savvy players can mitigate it with Personas packing Life Aid or Victory Cry.

Seeing Fusion Spells holding their own in Reload, amidst all the changes, is a personal favorite of mine.
