BG3: Find Mol Quest Walkthrough

Start the quest to find Mol in Baldur’s Gate 3? Well, you’re in luck because this guide is your virtual compass through the potential maze of confusion that is Act 2.

Now, finding Mol is no stroll in the park, my friends. This Tiefling is playing hide-and-seek on a whole new level. If you’re scratching your head, wondering where on Faerûn Mol might be, fear not. I’m here to rescue you from the quest-induced befuddlement.

Quick heads-up, Mol might be on your radar even before Act 2, lurking around the Emerald Grove in Act 1. For those eager beavers, my advice is to check out the Find Your Belongings quest guide in Baldur’s Gate 3 for some extra help during that early game pursuit.

Baldur’s Gate 3: Find Mol Guide

So, you’ve reached Act 2, and the game nudges you to hunt for Mol in the Mind Flayer Colony and Moonrise Towers. Guess what? She’s not chilling in either of those spots. Don’t waste precious game time searching there. Instead, set your sights on Act 3, where Mol magically reappears after her Act 2 cameo at the Last Light Inn.

Specifically, find Mol at X:-11 Y:751, snug as a bug in the Guildhall in the Lower City of Baldur’s Gate. Now, there are more doors than secrets in this city, and here are some paths to the Guildhall you can explore:

  • Sewer Sleuthing: Head southeast from the Baldur’s Gate Waypoint, dive into the Glitter Gala’s Manhole, clear the Noxious Fumes, and find the door to the Guildhall.
  • Barracks Bypass: Make your way to the Basilisk Gate Barracks in the northeast corner, slip into the Sewers via the Prison Entrance, and navigate to the Guildhall door through a sneaky hole in a Noxious Fume-filled room.
  • Beach Breezeway: Take a beach day to the west of the South Span Checkpoint near Rivington, assist the Guild, and get permission to waltz into the Guild Hall through its front door.
  • Orc Odyssey: Chat up the Orc at X:55 :-102, northeast from the Heapside Strand Waypoint, and gain entry through the Guildhall’s front door by interacting with a button on the wall. Don’t forget to use a ring you found nearby!

So there you have it, my fellow adventurers. Go forth, find Mol, and conquer Baldur’s Gate!
